Keep in mind that YOU are editing your assigned team page and NOT the wiki home page, as the tutorial suggests. Otherwise, the instructions will fit what you are doing on your team page. HOW DO I ADD VIDEO TO MY WIKI PAGE?
Want to put a video in your own page? 5 easy steps:
1. Make a copy of the embed code for your selected video (Youtube, CNN). Most times you will see a "Share" button at the source.
2. Click on "Widget" in the Editor bar.
3. Click on "other HTML" (bottom of list), paste code in the box, click SAVE.
4. You will see a gray box labeled "Other Widget" on your page.
5. Click Save in the Editor and "Tada" your video is embedded and ready to play.
(explore some of the other Widgets available to give your content meaning, or use "File" in the Editor to upload and add a picture to your page)
HOW DO I CREATE A SUBPAGE?
Want to add subpages to your wiki page? It is easier than you realize.
Open the Editor by clicking "EDIT".
Click on "Link".
Type in the "Link Text" box the text that will appear on your existing page as a link. Also, choose "Enter a page name..." from the dropdown menu. Click "Add Link"
A link will appear on your existing page that is linked to a potential new subpage. When you click the new link it will create a new page for you to use.
